Reblog if God is your hero.
mimsyporpington: getoffyourhighhippogriff: imjustaboywithadream: What has he done? And no, I’m serious, this is a legitimate question. What has he done to make him oh so great? Yeah, what has he done? He caused some earthquakes and oh there’re all those starving kids all over the world. He made those volcanoes in Iceland erupt. He caused some floods and droughts. They all killed some...

ohmessylifex: Atheists often pride themselves on being “rational”, they say Christians and other people who believe in God are illogical, irrational, that they believe in a God for which no evidence exists, and on those grounds they often pat themselves on the back for being so eminently logical. Maybe I should just rename this blog...
It really is fascinating the variation that evolution supplies, or if it is intelligent design how seriously fucked up God is.

Existential crisis.
This blog has become more about the awesomeness of the universe and less about me, perhaps I should change it’s name and stuff. Oh well.

I just spent five minutes studying this bug
From it’s disproportionately long legs, to it’s almost vestigial antennae. I’s elongated body and white spots. All a cause of random mutations in it’s genetic code that have been selected for by environmental pressures over a span of time unimaginable to humans. Biology is beautiful for it’s complexity like physics is beautiful for it’s simplicity.

Check out the tits on that one
This is literally the most awkward conversation I can ever have. I hate those members of your species who possess a Y chromosome. I’m never sure how to reply, on one hand I can be like “yeah I’d tap that bam bam bam” on the other I can be like “yeah I guess, she’s not really my type” or even be like “I’m sure her mammary glands would be...

Speaking of octopodes...
Here is another way that octopi are going to take over the world.   That’s an octopus. Pretending to be a sea snake. But not just any octopus I might add. Thaumoctopus mimicus or more commonly known as the mimic octopus is capable of mimicking a shit load of things such as a crab in a burrow. Or some other creepy thing: Or even a computer key board!

I would also like to say that “octopusses”, “octopi” and my personal favourite: “octopodes” are all correct plurals of octopus.

zeskiimaster: 1. It would be a much more dangerous world. In our world, people run risk of being eaten by tigers, lions and so forth. Here is something to blow your mind.
You got popcorn around? Feel like making popcorn? Looking forward to popcorn? Whatever, next time you have popcorn. Look at it very carefully, you’ll start to realize something. All popcorn is identical (except for when it’s popped under really high heats and pressure). And it looks like this: This is known as butterfly popcorn, but to me it just looks like an octopus.

Weird Wednesday: Poison blobs from the sky.
First off, it’s Wednesday in New Zealand, secondly: it’s been awhile since I posted anything out of the ordinary so I thought I’d take this chance to talk about the creepiest thing I know. Out story starts with Oakville in Washington on the 7th of August 1994, and then it begun to rain. Although it wasn’t water, instead it was a viscous paste described as transparent and...

Aesthetic Happiness: Finding your truth. →
loeritreyes: There has always been a huge debate between science and religion. The two have either knowing or unknowingly built up a wall separating one from the other. Many argue that death has occurred because of religion. Its been said that ‘Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it… Nice post, although I’m not sure if science can be blamed for eugenics,...

I am retarded.
So I work in a very multicultural, multilingual place and everyone is convinced that I am a retard. This is because I completely and utterly fail to comprehend what anyone else is saying due to accents or them not being able to speak English very well which has caused me to become somewhat of a mime. Here is a list of a few things that I have thought I’ve heard but haven’t and to this...
